Serving Roles.

BRIDGE LEADERS: Each leader is responsible for a small group of preteens (4th-6th graders) during the Wednesday night Bridge gathering. They lead activities and discussions related to the lessons taught in the larger group.

CAFE HOST:  This role is for someone familiar with coffee preparation and simple refreshment service.  The host arrives early to make coffee before the service, attends to keeping the carafes full, puts out the cookies, and provides general oversight of the LifeChange Cafe.

COOKIE BAKER:  Our cookie bakers are supplied with 10 dozen frozen cookies to be baked fresh in their own home ovens on Friday or Saturday and then delivered to the church on Sunday mornings.  Bakers serve on a rotating basis according to their preferred schedule.

HOSTS (serving inside or outside):  If you are outgoing and friendly, enjoy meeting new people and making them feel welcome, join our hosting team!  Hosts are positioned in the corresponding locations to connect with guests before and after the service by introducing themselves, engaging in light conversations, and answering any questions guests may have.

KIDS MINISTRY HOST:  The Kids Ministry Host welcomes guests who are new to LifeChange.  This person welcomes the visiting family and then guides them through the process of check-in and finding the appropriate rooms for their children.  Immediately following the service, the host returns to the guests to follow-up with them, thank them for coming and invite them to return.

KIDS CHURCH SMALL GROUP LEADER/ASSISTANT: These people are responsible for leading a group of 4 or 5 children (ages K-3rd grade) during Kids Church. Minimal preparation is required.

MEDICAL SUPPORT:  Considering the potential for any type of medical issue to arise on a Sunday morning we maintain a rotating schedule to ensure that a qualified medical professional is on-site during each worship service.  Guidelines for appropriate protocol will be provided.

NURSERY, TODDLER and PRESCHOOL LEADERS/ASSISTANTS: Volunteers serving this age group in the West Wing create a safe welcoming environment for the little ones and lead their class in simple lessons, crafts, and activities (that are prepped and provided for you).

PARKING LOT ATTENDANT:  Parking attendants serve our guests by welcoming them, helping them find a place to park, and providing umbrella protection when it rains.  Occasionally they will also provide valet service .  (Must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license.)

SAFETY: These screened and trained volunteers work to provide a measure of safety on the campus during Sunday and midweek gatherings.

TANDEM LEADERS: This team of adults works with the Youth Pastor in the ministry for 7th-12th graders. Leaders develop relationships with teens through leading small groups, helping with activities and events and being an influential person in the teens' lives.

TECH, LIGHTING & SOUND TEAM:  If you have experience and skills in the areas of presentation software, audio mixing, stage setting/décor, or stage lighting, we have a place for you to serve! Some training will be provided, but experience is greatly preferred.

USHER:  Ushers welcome people to the service, assist guests in finding seats, and some "behind the scenes" tasks.
