OPENHANDED

Based on an old “legend” where natives would trap monkeys by cutting a hole in a coconut or gourd and place a treat inside.  When the monkey inserted its hand into the hole to get the treat, as long as it had a grip on the treat, it could no longer remove its fist from the hole, thereby trapping the monkey.  In this series, we’re looking at the value of releasing our grip on our possessions so that we can be free to be generous.
