What We're All About

Four Words.  Worship.  Connect.  Serve.  Grow.  You'll find these words everywhere at LifeChange.   Sometimes we refer to them as WCSG. They serve to remind us of our purpose as a church and our strategy to help each individual person in their faith journey.  We believe that a growing and healthy faith doesn't just happen.  We ALL have to take steps to be intentional.  That's also true for churches. The purpose and mission of our church can easily be summed up in four important words:  

• WORSHIP:  Jesus Christ is a personal relationship to experience, not a religious duty to perform.
• CONNECT:  The faith journey is not a lone ranger deal.  We grow in the context of connecting with other people. 
• SERVE:  Saved people serve people.  Serving helps grow our faith.  Serving helps others see Jesus.  
• GROW:  Spiritually healthy people grow.  Much like with our physical bodies, spiritual health requires learning healthy disciplines.

Our goal is to help each person in their faith journey to live out these four values.  That's it.

That goal is based on what is probably the most well-known statements ever made by Jesus Christ:

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again."

Our vision is to create an environment and culture where men, women, boys and girls can experience a real and loving relationship with God's Son Jesus.   Worship, Connect, Serve and Grow, the "four words," simply serve as vehicles in that incredible faith journey.
